The early bird tickets are all gone, and call for papers has ended so we thought it would be nice to introduce a new speaker to our lineup, Max Bucknell.
Max is a software developer at Redbox Digital, specialising in JavaScript and working almost exclusively with Magento 2 over the past year. Very passionate about the Magento community, he can often be found in community events such as the London Magento Meetup, or #realmagento. Outside of work, he is an avid rugby fan and lover of strange and old programming languages.
We asked Max a few short questions –
What are you most proud of?
This is a tough question, Stacey. I think that overall, I’m most proud of finishing my degree, even though I really didn’t want to. But I don’t know if that’s something to be proud of, or just foolhardy.
Who do you most admire in your career?
There are many people I’ve looked up to all my life, but one of my favourite examples is Ada Lovelace.
Why did you want to get involved in Mage Titans UK 2016?
I got involved after attending the inaugural Mage Titans (I want to say 2014), and thinking that I might have something of value to share with the wider community.
Is there anything else that you are eager to tell us about your talk?
It’s subject to development, but I hope to have some things to demo over the course of the presentation. Fun, but useful as well.
Many thanks to Max for stopping to answer these questions, we are really excited.
