We have been asked a few times on places to stay in Manchester so we thought we would help you out.
Whether you are coming from Germany, Holland, Italy, or even just up the M6 from London, you’ll need a nice, comfortable place to lay your head. Remember, there’s a Friday night – yet to be announced – and a full Saturday of mind-blowing Magento talks followed by an after party, and the Sunday is all yours to adventure / recover!
All searches have been performed for one person, one night. If you have more people it will most likely work out cheaper!

You could look at Airbnb as I have recently used the service and found the whole experience very pleasant. We have done a quick search for you and found a few very nice apartments available.
Want to get acquainted?
The below are the central-Manchester venues. A little walk across the centre to get to the Comedy Store (for Mage Titans), about fifteen to twenty minutes depending how fast you walk. They are situated by Piccadilly (the centre of Manchester) and near the Northern Quarter, where you’ll find the nice bars, restaurants, cafés, music, art, nightlife etc. There is always lots going on and you might find that the evenings, and even the mornings take you that way!
How about a city apartment?
City Warehouse Aparthotel
- Or StayCity serviced Apartment Only rooms left £££, £200 per night upwards
Or perhaps a nice hotel?
- The Malmaison for something a little fancy, from £215, one person, per night
Double Tree, Hilton Motel One
Roll out of bed?
All of the below hotels are a very, very short walk from Deansgate and the Comedy Store, so simply cross the road to go to bed! I have included ones with decent ratings and of varying costs so you can pick which suits you the best.
As the event nears, hotels and apartments are booking up in the centre of Manchester, so with that in mind we have added some more budget hotels which we hope you can grab a decent room to sleep in. As above, we have checked out the ratings and reviews and they seem to be of a good enough standard for a couple of nights!
- Ibis Manchester Centre, Princess Street £147, one person, per night
The Portland Hotel,
- ABode, Manchester Central from £226, one person, per night
- Brittania Hotel from £149.50, one person per night
- Diamond Lodge a 10 minute taxi or bus ride away. From £62, one person, per night
- Holiday Inn, Media City a 10 minute taxi ride away. From £162, one/two people, per night
We also posted an article last year about some things to do in the city, just in case we don’t keep you busy enough! 🙂
Just tweet us if you have any questions, hope that helps make your weekend stay a little easier.
